A Meeting of the Wings of Molten Stone and Emerald Light

A few years ago in 2019, I had a side commission to create a painting of a dragon. The one who commissioned it, really wanted a mechanical dragon. I suggested adding another character of some kind to make it have a bit of a story and add some tension. We decided on a second creature, a gryphon of rock that has a molten inner core. Although I meant to paint this in oils, digital became the chosen route. And this was also my first serious foray into the software Krita after years of Photoshop. Finished 2024.
